Chaque année, des centaines de milliers de migrants sud-américains tentent de rejoindre les Etats-Unis. Pour ce faire, ils n’ont d’autre choix que de traverser le Mexique sur toute sa longueur. Le moyen le plus simple pour eux : monter sur le toit des trains de marchandises qui se dirigent vers le nord. Les chutes sont nombreuses et beaucoup se retrouvent amputés d’un bras ou d’une jambe.
